Countertop planning FAQ
Owner-confirmed project rules are shown without unsupported price, timing, service-area or performance promises.
Cost depends on confirmed measurements, material selection, edge details, openings and project scope. This site does not publish a number until verified pricing rules and project information are available.
No. Approximate lengths, photos and a simple sketch can support a Rough or Preliminary Estimate. A completed onsite measurement is required before a Formal Quote.
The planned secure estimate form includes a photo step. Upload and storage are not connected in this phase, so this website is not collecting photos yet.
A replacement can be planned by documenting the current surface, cabinet condition, fixtures and backsplash. Removal and related trade work must be confirmed rather than assumed.
Useful starting points include wide photos, approximate dimensions, a layout or sketch, postal code, sink and cooktop details, backsplash preference and a colour direction if known.
The sink type and model can affect the opening, faucet-hole plan and clearances. Share model information when it is available.
A cooktop opening requires confirmed appliance information and clearances. Identify the intended location early and provide model details when known.
Quartz is commonly considered for islands. Planning should include island dimensions, seating, overhangs, seams and any sink or cooktop opening.
Backsplash material and height affect the visual transition at the wall. Whether backsplash work is offered or included must be confirmed for the specific project.
Fabrication and installation are supported services. The exact material, scope, project location and installation responsibilities must be confirmed for each project.
Supported materials include Quartz, Granite, Marble, Porcelain and Quartzite. Only eligible Quartz projects use deterministic preliminary pricing; other materials require a human-reviewed response.
Cabinet layout and readiness, fixture and appliance details, and safe site access must be reviewed for the project. The appointment requirements are confirmed before measurement rather than assumed from a general checklist.
Payment timing and any deposit are confirmed in the applicable Formal Quote or project terms. A Rough or Preliminary Estimate is not an invoice or payment request.
Plumbing, electrical and gas work are outside Elite's countertop installation scope. Any required trade coordination must be confirmed separately for the project.
There is no fixed public completion-time promise. Timing is confirmed after material, scope, site readiness and scheduling are reviewed for the specific project.
Published service areas: Southern Ontario. Availability for an individual project still requires confirmation.
